[Mute Swans] Chapter 1: A couple of elegant residents

River Cam, a beautiful river, where many species of water birds reside.

A couple of mute swans reside the river for several years.

The swan swims in a elegant posture. This is the male swan.

The female swan. Although the male and female look alike, it can be simplely distinguished by the size. The male is slighter larger than the female.

The male has a larger black knob on orange bill.

The female’s knob is smaller and bill also shorter than male’s.
