[Mute Swans] Chapter 11: Repel invaders

The male swan scares away the mallard taking her children to feed around the swan’s nest, while the female swan is taking care of eggs and baby swan.

The mallard family come to forage since some foods like bread usually sprayed around the swan’s nest by people. The male then leave the nest, come to river, to drive the ducks away from their nest.

He has to drive the ducks from left to right…

from right to left…

But actually the male doesn’t really bite any of them. As I saw similar scenes for many times, I found the swans just bluff the invaders, including people.

The male comes back to the nest and accompanies with the female.
