[Clare College]

Clare College was founded in 1326 by Rechard de Badew, the Univeristy Chancellor. The name at the moment was University Hall and changed to Clare Hall until 1856. The Clare Hall College now was founded by Clare College as a graduate student college .

Clare is the second oldest surving college, locating behind King’s College and Old School.



The bridge cross over the river cam is the oldest of Cambirdge’s current bridges. The bridge has forteen balls for decoration.

One of the forteen balls has a missing part. The most famous story concerning this is that the bridge builder was not happy with his pay and made the bridge never finshed.
