[Trinity College] Singing on the River

Singing on the river is a tradition of Trinity College in University of Cambridge.

The tradition start from mid-1980s when the College Choir first acquired female members. It follows the other concert “Singing from the Towers” at the noon on the same day.

It is the College Choir performing madrigals on the punts on the river.

It is nine in the evening, while sky remains bright.

Thousands of residents join this event.

Some people rent a punt for the event while others may just pass through here.

It is not bad to get so much attention when doing punting.

Many people arrived early to get a good seat.

The conductor is ready to start.

The madrigals involve popular songs.

People are immersing themselves in the melody of the song.
